Hello, Stranger, 2010

The telephone has mutated many times over, but its chief role still allows us to “reach out and touch someone.” As land lines and their directories become obsolete, the occasional wrong number and subsequent brief connection to a stranger becomes a rare occurrence. Hello, Stranger creates a call from beyond oneʼs own address book to
offer some surprising exchanges; both serendipitous and unexpected connections may occur when the phone rings as gallery goers pass by.
