John asks for at least one hint or trick related to Pd…hmmm…well, I did spend “a bunch of time trying to connect outlets in inlets instead of inlets to outlets”–in fact, I wished now that I had saved all the error messages from the Pd program–it would be enlightening! The most important thing I learned was to make sure I was operating in the right mode–and knowing the keyboard shortcuts made that a lot easier.

I edited squealer–is that Matt’s pd? I forget already. And I reworked my pd because I think the one I posted didn’t actually work–so, here are two new links to pd’s.

I’m getting a better sense of how pd works–I think it’s a blast just fooling around with it–but it would be nice if I actually understood it–maybe someday!
