Yesterday Josh and I got together and did a few of the mechanical chores necessary for this project (I should say Josh did the hard stuff)–recording more (and different) sounds on the chips, hiding the photosensors in flowers (I soldered leads on them today–still need to tape them)–then Josh figured out the wiring on the crazy, thrift store motherboard–pretty cool! Better than all of that, though–Josh plays a mean game of table tennis–now that’s exciting!
