It doesn’t take much to get me excited in the lab–because I am such a simpleton when it comes to technology, every little thing looks like a miracle! We (today that meant John and Muaz) recorded more bird songs on my voice recorder chips and on the old ones that Tom found in the thrift store. Tom’s are 1416’s and mine are 1420’s so I guess the only difference is mine record for 20 seconds, his for 16–but it looks like I can use that whole thrift store find and save a bunch of time. Anyway–I also used a program called Audacity that I liked very much–think it will be useful in the future.
