Hello, Good-bye presents the accumulation of a lifetimeʼs worth of correspondence as
an archive of personal, undisclosed narratives. Burning, illuminating and otherwise
marking the letters to create a new account challenges the principals of preservation; no
longer cherished keepsakes, or reliable history, they allow reflection on the nature of
communication and the value of the written word.
